We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join the Games & Attractions Team at the Festival of Hope! As a Games & Attractions Volunteer, you will help set up, run, and oversee a wide variety of exciting games and attractions, including cornhole, carnival games, photo booth, and inflatable activities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that guests of all ages have fun while playing, ensuring the smooth operation of each game or attraction, and maintaining a safe and friendly environment. If you enjoy working with people and are passionate about making the festival a memorable experience, we’d love for you to join us!

Key Responsibilities:

Setup of Games & Attractions:

Assist with the setup and organization of various games and attractions before the event begins, including cornhole, carnival games (like Tee Ball, Free Throw Shootout, and Skeeball), mechanical rodeo shark, and other inflatable or interactive games.
Ensure each game station is properly arranged, with all required materials and equipment set up and ready for guests to enjoy.
Oversee and Operate Games:

Manage specific game stations or attractions during the event, ensuring that games run smoothly and are well-maintained throughout the day.
Help guests understand how to play each game, offering instructions and encouraging friendly competition.
Ensure all participants follow the rules and play safely, and encourage a fun and positive atmosphere for everyone involved.
Engage with Attendees:

Interact with festival-goers of all ages, making sure they have a great time and enjoy the games or activities.
Provide a welcoming, friendly attitude and encourage positive participation, making the experience fun and enjoyable.
Offer assistance or guidance if guests need help with gameplay or equipment.
Maintain Game Area Cleanliness and Safety:

Ensure that each game area remains clean, organized, and safe for all participants.
Monitor the game areas for any issues, such as equipment malfunction, safety concerns, or crowd control.
Assist with the proper storage and organization of game equipment during and after the event.
Assist with Crowd Control and Line Management:

Help manage lines and ensure that guests have a fair chance to participate in games without overcrowding or confusion.
Encourage guests to take turns and provide assistance in managing the flow of people at each attraction.
Tear Down and Pack Up:

Assist with the disassembly and storage of game equipment and attractions after the event ends.
Help ensure that all game stations are properly packed and that the event area is left clean and tidy.
